The annual RoboCup competition is on again. This is where people design and build robots to play football (soccer). The robots are not remotely controlled, they are act autonomously (by themselves). It will take place during the Golden Week so it is sure to be packed and fun.
The web site is at : http://www.robocup-japanopen.org/ but everything is in Japanese so here’s a few details.
The event will be on the 3rd May until the 5th May at Intex. The opening times are 10am to 5pm for the 3rd and 4th, 10am to 4pm for the 5th. Entrance fee is 1000 yen at the door, 800 Yen if you buy your ticket in advance and free for Junior High School students or younger.
To get to Intex, take the Chuo line (dark green) to the last stop at Cosmosquare, change to the New Tram (without leaving the station) until the Nakafuto station.
