This morning at Honmachi Station a commuter fell from the platform onto the tracks after bumping into another commuter. Luckily she wasn’t badly hurt, as the train that was approaching stopped in time.

The Ajigawa Tunnel is an unique tunnel connecting Nishi-Kujo with Kujo. It runs underneath the Aji river and is for pedestrians and bicycles, though once it also provided service for cars.

If cars are your thing, this coming long weekend (Sat 10th - Mon12th Feb) there will be a Motor/Car show at the Intex Exhibition Centre. Admission is 2,500 Yen and the show will be open from 9am to 6pm (5pm on Mon).

The Kaiyukan is Osaka’s very own aquarium and until the 12th Feb they have a special event with the penguins let out to walk about for while. You can see them at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. And afterwards five lucky people can have their photos taken with the penguins. We are going on Sunday so please [...]
